

The good news though is that once you unlock a Striker on a development tree, you can use that assist when you choose any mobile suit in battle. It’s important to note that you have to level up each mobile suit to have access to its entire tree, and you can only unlock every Striker by leveling and buying the Striker for each and every mobile suit.

Here you can select the tree for each mobile suit in the game, unlocking new titles, emblems, and strikers. Once you’ve accumulated some points, head to the main menu and select Mobile Suit, then go to MS Development Tree. GP is the currency you use to unlock different options in Gundam Versus, and there’s a few different ways to earn it like playing online battles and trial mode. Luckily it’s pretty easy to do so, you’ll just need to earn plenty of GP and know where to go. You can add a ton more to your repertoire, however, but you’ll need to unlock them first. You start out with just three Strikers unlocked in Gundam, all long-ranged. On top of that, if you thought there were a lot of mobiles suits in Gundam Versus, there are even more Strikers with playable mobile suits acting as assists and unique characters. These characters have unique moves and uses, with some focused on close range melee attacks and some on long-range. Part of the battle system deals with Strikers, basically assist characters that are mapped to the R1 button. Gundam Versus has a pretty complex battle system that gives you tons of different moves to use, with over 90 mobiles suits each having unique movesets.
